Executive Director: Chris Goeckel
Mr. Goeckel is a technology executive and serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of business process, packaged software sales, consulting, systems integration, mobile and implementation experience. Chris has held numerous positions at Oracle Corporation in both the software and the consulting organizations. He founded and operated a boutique Oracle ERP consultancy for 13 years until its acquisition in 2011.
Over the last 3 years, Mr. Goeckel has invested and held senior management roles in a number of software start-up companies in both sports and business analytics; including: Verdeeco, First Sports International, and FanPlay. Mr. Goeckel played soccer at Berry College and owned the National Premier Soccer League franchise Atlanta FC from 2007 until 2015. Mr. Goeckel holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia and a Masters Degree in International Business with a minor in Economics from Georgia State University.
President: Eric Morrison
Mr. Morrison is a retired Army Officer. During his over 26 years of service he held multiple leadership positions and received many awards including a Bronze Star. Eric has a wide array of managerial and leadership experience spanning both the government and private sectors. He’s the CEO of the Morrison Sports Management Group. Inc. which provides professional management services to sports organizations.
In 2016 Eric became the General Manager of the Georgia Revolution FC of the National Premier Soccer League. During his time with the club, the organization has seen rapid growth and now fields several teams in multiple leagues.
Mr. Morrison holds an MBA from Mercer University and a BS in History from Towson University. He is married with two children. He credits his passion for soccer to coaching his children and seeing the joy the game brings.
Vice President: Jason Longshore
Mr. Longshore grew up on the south side of Atlanta, playing soccer in both Clayton and Henry County as a child. During his time at the University of Georgia, he became the Director of Media Relations and Director of Operations for the Atlanta Ruckus of the A-League.
Later in his career, Mr. Longshore joined Soccer in the Streets. In a variety of roles centering around marketing, communications, and development, he helped raise the profile of the organization and created the platform for the organization’s success today. He was recognized by Congressman John Lewis with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to the community.
Mr. Longshore joined Atlanta United’s radio broadcast team in 2017 on 92.9 The Game. He added Atlanta United 2 matches in 2018 on ESPN.
Treasurer: Enrique “Rick” Zambrana
Mr. Zambrana is a retired Army Military Intelligence Officer with over 27 years of service. During his service, Rick served in numerous leadership and managerial roles, including Deputy Director, Intelligence and Security Directorate, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Training Officer. Rick also has experience managing various types of budgets in excess of over $2,000,000. Rick served in three overseas combat tours which further honed his experience in Senior Executive positions.
Rick currently serves as Chief of Operations for the Georgia Revolution FC of the National Premier Soccer League where he works with Eric Morrison.
Rick holds a BS in Criminal Justice from California State University- Fresno.
