Revs 2021 NPSL Coaching Staff

The full coaching staff has been assembled in preparation for the upcoming NPSL season.  The staff of five coaches is led by new Head Coach Ricky Davey.  Ricky is a member of the Georgia State University coaching staff and brings with him a great deal of experience and a track record of success.

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the amazing coaching staff Ricky has put together.  From our very first interview, it was obvious that Ricky was the right choice to lead the Revs to the next level and his motivation, passion, and organizational abilities have resulted in him building a fantastic coaching staff that will help with recruitment, player development, and ultimately winning.  We’re in for a very exciting season.”

Alec Morrison returns for his fifth year on the Revs coaching staff.  As a member of the ADASL and Youth coaching staff, he will provide continuity as we take a whole club approach to winning in the NPSL along with his impressive record of developing players and winning as a coach.

“Alec brings an inside knowledge of the club that will be essential to our progress throughout the summer. His work with the reserve, and youth teams will provide a true strength to the NPSL squad. His advice will be crucial, and his shoulder to lean on is vital for the staff”.  – Coach Ricky

Chris Jackson returns for his third season as the Revs GK coach.  He brings a high level of professionalism and expertise to the role.  Additionally, Chris continues to play for and coach the Revs Reserves.

“Chris has a decade of experience at top levels throughout the game. His knowledge and skill set will provide a true professional & technical environment to our GK’s. I’m excited to work with Chris as a coach, and a person. Our keepers will cherish this experience”. – Coach Ricky

Adam Reakes joins the club this season after many successful years as a player and coach.  He is currently the Academy Director of Coaching at Inter Atlanta FC and has been successful everywhere he coaches.

“Adam has an established NPSL/USL2 background and will bring copious amounts of experience to the staff. His skills will lend to the defensive half of our team, and the discipline and organization that comes at the NPSL level. Adam is a grinder, and his work ethic will dissipate throughout the squad”. – Coach Ricky

The final new member of the coaching staff is Daniel Mohsen from Georgia State University.  After a successful player career, including 2011 as a Rev, Daniel is building an impressive reputation in the coaching ranks.

“Daniel is an excellent coach that I’m delighted to be working with. Along with being a top coach and recruiter, he brings an energy that is second to none to any situation he is part of. I see Daniels’ skill set focused on the attacking half of the field. This staff, and organization is excited to have Daniel on board”.            – Coach Ricky
