Q&A with Revs Reserve Defender Carl Adjaho

CarlThis week we interview Revs Reserve Defender Carl Adjaho!  Carl is the starting left back for our league leading defense.  He’s played in 7 games so far this ADASL season, adding 1 goal and 2 assists. He’s an exciting prospect that has been invited to the Senior Team’s closed Tryout!

Q1: How has getting to know your teammates on the Revs Reserves been so far?

Carl: Its been really great being around the boys learning about and from one another, and forming a sort of brotherhood that I feel will lead to more success on the field.

Q2: As a defender that likes to get forward, what do you feel you add most in the attack?

Carl: Versatility has always been an attribute I’ve had whether it be club soccer, College, and now with the Revs. I’ve played everywhere on the field my whole life so I’ve been able to develop a well rounded game that has given me the ability to learn the ins and outs of playing both offense and defense; so at left back I’ve just learned to pick my spots and opportunities as they come in the game.

Q3: Where did you grow up playing soccer?

Carl: I grew up first playing soccer in West Africa Ghana but I’ve been based in Henry county since fifth Grade and played my club soccer and high school soccer here too at Dutchtown High School. Then I went down the road at Clayton state to play collegiality.

Q4: How has it been to have the Revs Reserves playing so close to where you played in High School?

Carl: Its been truly exciting to have the Revs in Henry County because I feel Henry and Clayton County are untapped hotbeds for soccer in our state and I’m really happy for the locals to have a home town team to be a part of and cheer for.

Q5: How much enthusiasm do you think people in Henry County have for soccer?

Carl: There are definitely some hardcore soccer fans in Henry county both adult and youth who I know are excited to have some quality soccer right here in their back yard.

Q6: Anything else you’d like to say to our fans?

Carl: I’d like to thank them for their continued support and let them know that both the Revs first team and Reserves will work very hard to give them a team they can be proud to call their own.
